Egypt’s buy-now-pay-later fintech valU has teamed up with notchnco, an independent software vendor, and PayTabs Egypt to enable its customers to shop via Whatsapp.
Adding notchnco’s interactive chatbot to WhatsApp can help valU to prioritise digital opportunities where customers can shop through the messenger with PayTabs Egypt digital solutions.
COO of valU Bassel ElTokhy said: “This collaboration not only diversifies our network of partners but further cements our position as a champion of the latest digital solutions in MENA’s retail space alongside our sister company, PayTabs Egypt.
“Offering an even more seamless user experience, valU customers can now enjoy our customisable BNPL payment plans in an end-to-end automated process through notchnco’s chatbot and complete their payments via PayTabs Egypt, all through a single platform – WhatsApp.”
The opted-in customers will be receiving targeted messages designed by advanced algorithms.
With PayTabs Egypt’s digital payment links sent via WhatsApp, the process will be fully-automated from start to finish.
In addition, valU’s customers can choose flexible six to 60-month instalment payment plans.
notchnco is an omnichannel platform powered by artificial intelligence and curated to offer advanced marketing tools and solutions for a customer-centric and personalised approach.
“We are delighted to be partnering with two premier players in Egypt’s fintech scene, valU and PayTabs Egypt, to offer customers a seamless and fully automated user experience while enjoying the convenience of customisable instalment plans,” said founder and CEO of notchnco Bassem Nassif.
With this partnership, the company hopes to achieve a more flexible, speedy and multi-faceted personalised shopping experience, Mr Nassif said.
“It is part of our strategy to offer all-inclusive solutions to clients through unique, innovative partnerships that break new ground in MENA’s fintech market,” said country business development manager of PayTabs Egypt Karim Eyada.
This collaboration marks the latest of several strategic partnerships between valUand its sister company PayTabs Egypt in the past few years.
