If you could be any character from a movie, who would you be?
I would have to say Viktor Navorski from The Terminal. We live in a day and age of change, and nobody embraces change better than a dynamic and agile guy like Victor.

What is your greatest achievement?
The pursuit is still on to get there. So far, I would say one of my best achievements is Liquid Retail, the company I set up with my business partner 6 years ago. We started as a small team and have now evolved into an international e-commerce agency providing a full suite of integrated retail solutions to renowned brands. While we still have a long way to go and a lot more to achieve, I am very proud of our progress.

Your life is a combination of decisions, Trust your gut instinct. Go for what you want. Make decisions based on what is in front of you, and don’t be too worried about the outcome.

If you had 24 hours left on Earth, what would you do?
I would call some of my loved ones, take my dogs for a hike, and end it with a good meal.

Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
Definitely, my mother – she has been a great role model for my family and me.

I would also have to mention my ex-boss at Saatchi & Saatchi, who taught me so much and set a strong example of leadership.

Lastly, I also have to mention that I am very inspired by some of my peers who are in their 40s, who have all gathered solid experience and skills, which, in turn, has made significant impact on our industry and how we do business in the region.

What would you like to achieve in the next 10 years?
The Middle East, at times, has been unfairly labeled as the backwaters of the commerce world. I think that is far from reality. I believe that we are on par with, if not ahead of, most of the globe when it comes to a complete commerce offering. At Liquid, we focus on showcasing this competence and expertise to the world!
