The Chalhoub Group, luxury franchise operator in the Middle East, recently added three branches of British-based fragrance brand Molton Brown to its portfolio.

Molton Brown stores are now available in Qatar’s Place Vendome Mall, Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall and Dubai’s Dubai Hills Mall.

“Molton Brown has been in the region now for over 10 years, offering products and a lifestyle that are loved and cherished by so many,” said Jennifer Mourad, senior brand manager at the Chalhoub Group.

“The brand has recently worked on a beautiful store concept – the 1971 concept – in homage to the rich history of the brand, starting with the opening of the first salon in 1971.

“[The store is] a warm, welcoming environment with beautiful mahogany wood shelves, rattan cabinets and a lot of greenery where our customers can feel at home and beautifully experience the world of Molton Brown.”

Molton Brown stocks fragrance, bath, body, hair and home collections and promises that products are not tested on animals.

Shoppers can ask personal fragrance questions to knowledgeable employees and request complimentary gift wrapping upon purchases.

In April, the Chalhoub Group partnered with Dubai Cares to produce 8,000 sustainably manufactured tote bags.

Bags were available across numerous stores operated by the Chalhoub Group in the UAE, including Faces, Ghawali, Tanagra, Tryano, Bobbi Brown, Courcelles, Dolce & Gabbana, Dsquared, Ex-Nihilo, FILA, Frederic Malle, Karl Lagerfeld, Kenzo, Kilian Paris, Lacoste, L’Occitane, Michael Kors, Molton Brown, Nars, Paul Smith, Rene Caovilla, Stella McCartney, Salvatore Ferragamo, Swarovski, Tory Burch, Tumi and Versace.

Bags could also be purchased via the mobile application of the Chalhoub Group’s loyalty programme, MUSE.

Loyalty members could redeem collected points to purchase the bags online.

Proceeds from sales of the bags were donated to Dubai Cares in support of global initiative RewirEd Global Declaration on Connectivity for Education, which seeks to increase connectivity for learning and advocate for importance of education.

The Chalhoub Group also partnered with UAE-based company Save the Planet to create sustainable shopping bags made with jute yarn and cotton fibres.

Partial proceeds supported training programmes to educate and improve skills of underprivileged women.
