What is the best way to start your day?
A litre of water, a strong coffee and complex carbs. I hit the gym right after. I wish I could meditate in the morning, but I am not that disciplined yet.
If you could be any character from a movie, who would you be?
Chris McCandless from ‘Into the Wild’. Being a mountain lover myself, I love the idea of disconnecting from the world and escaping into pure nature. One can truly discover themselves in this setting.
What is your greatest achievement?
I started a healthcare company, got seed funded and scaled it to distribute our brands to 30,000 retailers in India.
What advice would you give your 13-year-old self?
Start a business, no matter its size.
If you had 24 hours left on Earth, what would you do?
Invest eight hours being with my family and loved ones, eight hours in the nature on a spiritual trip, eight hours sleeping because I’m probably exhausted with the previous 16.
Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
My grandfather. At 85, he works harder than most folks I know. His sense of discipline and ethics is legendary.
What would you like to achieve in the next 10 years?
To create a company our customers and employees are proud to be a part of, scaled to become the dominant diamond jewellery retailer we envision it to be.
