Sara Chemmaa, founder and CEO of children-centric brand Citron, shares the ten-year vision for her brand. Citron was founded when Chemmaa identified a space in the market for stylish leakproof lunchboxes. Since its launch in 2017, Citron has grown to stock over 200 products, including a sustainable range, a bamboo range and a teenage-centric range. To date, the brand has sold over 150,000 products.
What is the best way to start your day?
A good breakfast, yoga and meditation is the best formula to start a great.

Lady Gaga’s character in the movie ‘A star is born’.
What is your greatest achievement?
My three kids.
What advice would you give your 13-year-old self?
Believe in yourself, you are stronger than what you think.
If you had 24 hours left on Earth, what would you do?
Spend every second with my kids, husband and family.
Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is my kids.
What would you like to achieve in the next 10 years?
I could fit many things in a 10-year period, but here are the top three I’d like to see after one decade: firstly, I’d like to see Citron listed on the NY Stock exchange; secondly, I’d like to see my kids grow healthy and happy; and finally, I’d like to see myself as a happy and fulfilled mother, wife and entrepreneur.
